GEAR SY 220
A synthetic gearbox oil based on polyalkylene glycol (PAG), to which special additives have been added in order to obtain the following properties:
- a naturally high viscosity index
- excellent high and low temperature properties
- very good resistance to high pressures and shock loads
- very high resistance to oxidation
- long service life
- significant reduction in friction losses
Applications
This synthetic oil is ideal for lubricating heavily loaded mechanical transmissions and bearing systems with high thermal loads. Compared to mineral gearbox oil, a significant extension of the oil change interval is possible. This oil must not come into contact with aluminium and its alloys.
This product contains polyalkylene glycols (PAG) and is therefore not miscible with mineral or other synthetic oils.
